Russ:
NO TRs ran in Group 3. Dave Spiwak had the red TR3 there, but did not
run-said he spun a bearing at a previous event, but did not know it until he
got to Summit Point.
There were several Spitfires in Group 1 and also another Group (and some did
quite well in fact), but I don't know who they were; perhaps someone else
can comment(?) A red one with a rookie stripe went off on the inside between
5 and the Carousel and had to be towed. It didn't look damaged as it went by
on the hook. It looked like another car was involved and it was towed as
well. Maybe an MGA? They black flagged the race until the track was cleaned
up.
