What I really meant was that Silicon brake fluid sucks. I've never heard
any racer have a good thing to say about it except that it stays very
clean.

On the subject of brake fluid, when I took the TR-4 apart and removed
all the
brake lines, master cyl., etc, the brake fluid was very clean, almost
clear.
This was surprising because supposedly the car had been sitting for over
10
years. However, it didn't look like brake fluid as it was a very
yellowish
color. I'm guessing it is a silicone brake fluid but don't know, never
having used or worked on a car with silicone fluid. Any guesses? Is
silicone fluid preferred over the standard fluid for racing? Thanks.
