TR6 CONNECTING ROD

One of the guys in my local Triumph club is having his 1969 TR6 engine rebuilt
by the guy who does my machine work. The machinist rejected one of the rods as
unusable. Does anyone have a good rod lying around  that they can lay their
hands on cheap  (why am I worrying about what  Bill Damdinger is going to do
