I know you guys haven't heard from me for a long time but I'm still going
through the '57 TR3. I've got the suspension done now with tr6 front pieces
and a 4.10 Salisbury out back. I've got the car lowered about 1" with a
matched set of springs, (softer in the rear), with a 7/8" front sway bar. I
put Spax adjustables on the front. In the past I used Apple Hydraulics
heavy duty rebuilds for rear shocks, but I've found a guy who sez he can
build me a good set for the TR3. He has several different springs for the
valve setup and supposedly can make them work any way I want. Wow too many
options...my head is spinning!! If a fellow was to ask for a custom setup
shock for a TR3 to run in HSR events and an occasional hill climb (North
Carolina) what would it be?
