WOW! Ain't life exciting.

A safe place near NYC...what a concept. Benton Harbor, MI? Detroit?

No! They're both similar.

Sorry. Can't help. See you at MOSPORT.

Bill Dentinger

PS

I'm packing for MOSPORT today too, and leaving Tuesday (sometime).

Mike Jackson, in the Shadowfax, and John Harkness in his Formcar, both drove
excellent races in the V/H 40th Anniversary Formula VEE race at the JUNE
SPRINTS (Road America) yesterday. Mike had worked his way up to 6th or 7th
(from
11th) in a field of 40, but was unable to hold his position till the end. Bob
Wismer and I watched the End Of The Day Race from outside turn 14 (We had to
leave right after because Bob had to get to Blackhawk where he races his Sports
2000 today) I didn't get to talk to Mike after the race, but my guess is he
got 'snookered' by a Historic VEE, who was helping a buddy Vintage VEE advance.
Formula VEE, especially at Road America, is such a momentum thing, and you'd
better have friends to help you hold your position or advance, or you are out
of business. Mike got Black Flagged in the morning qualifying session for
bump drafting (or maybe it was attempted sodomy, I'm not sure). You'd have to
talk to Mike.
