I believe the leader of the Lavender Hill Mob was Tex Hopkins who was the
starter at both Marlboro and Watkins Glen for many years. Others ????

I was but a wee lad in the early 60's, but I seem to remember that the
Lavender Hill Gang was a group of folks who raced at Marlboro (in Maryland).
What they raced and the individual names of the drivers, I'll leave for
someone older than I.
