Speaking of the ITC, on Friday night one of the SCCA corner workers came
over to imbibe, his name was Rick. It turns out Rick has a Spitfire that is
set up for the track in SCCA glory, flares and slicks. Someone pointed him
to Peter Krause to talk about running the car at the Gold Cup/ITC.
Peter told Rick the car would be fine for the ITC/Gold Cup, but it had to
run on treaded tires. Rick said he didn't have the budget for a set of
tires for one race weekend, so Peter told Rick he could BORROW a set of
tires from Krause and England for the race weekend!
Kudos to Peter Krause helping our cause to get as many Triumphs there as
possible!
