odd ignition

don't give up just yet on the electrons.  don't know which mallory dist you
are running, but have had odd problems with mysterious dead shorts that
would come and go in newer ones.  might pull it out snd set it
on a machine to see if anything odd happens at 5700 engine rpm.
physical exam of the innerds may be in order too.
