PS, let me know if I've screwed up the math anywhere. I do math about as well
as I fly.

Scott Barr sent me a Compression Ratio Calculator on an excel spread sheet.
I placed it on the fot site in the links section. It is pretty simple and
easy to use.

Subject: compression ratio calculator
I put this spreadsheet together to calculate my compression ratio. Do you
think it's worth making it available on the FOT web site? Inputting your
bore, stroke, combustion chamber data, etc. allows you to calculate your
compression ratio. Most of the calculators I found out there on the web
were inoperative. And those that do work don't show you how the numbers are
arrived at, so you can't be sure you've got it right. With a spreadsheet,
you can see the math. So if I've got the math wrong somehow, I'm sure
someone will point it out.
