Wow. 

I remember going to Mike Parti's (a Vincent and other motorcycle guru) house
years ago, and the two things that impressed me the most (besides dozens of
exotic motorcycles scattered casually around) were his huge collection of
Amal carburetors nailed to the wall (NAILED!) and a big collection of
repairable spark plugs. They used to come apart into multiple pieces and you
could refurbish them or replace bits that were done for. 

Kas is absolutely right though, with a plug blaster and a little file you're
in the remanufactured plug biz. Most people don't file the center electrode
after blasting, and therefore don't get good performance.

Okay guys, as long as it came up... I found the REAL deal, just the other
day.... I was able to pick up a box of 10 spark plugs, and they have to be
the best you can ever get...
 
Part #SP6. by Standard Parts of Kansas City, Mo.  Complete set in box, the
top of the box states:
 
These repaired spark plugs were originally manufactured by the Champion
Spark Plug Co.
 
They have been thoroughly renovated and repaired, new negative electrodes
installed when necessary and the other parts refinished and adjusted by the
exclusive processes originated by STANDARD PARTS... 3033 Main St., Kansas
City, Mo.  (no zip code included)
 
The front of the box states in bold letters, they are GUARANTEED 10000
MILES!!!!!!!
 
10 of these babies... still wrapped in their tissue paper inside their own
boxes, inside the carton....
 
and they're alllll mine.... 
 
I know I'll be fast next year.....
