Mr. Bill Watkins. To the FOT
Mr. Watkins has given up racing for now but, did race extensively for over a
few months shy of 50 years. Started out in TR's.
By the way.. Bill is an engineer... I had an interesting roof suspension
problem in my garage... We traded some gasket work for Roof load suspension
a few years ago. 'Nuff said.
Yes, I was Chief Engineer at Disney and I designed the Space Mountain and
Big Thunder roller coasters at Walt Disney World, Disneyland , Tokyo DL, and
Paris along with several other rides. As for the Monorail, we rebuilt those
with new bodies from Germany at our own company, Ride & Show Engineering, in
San Dimas after we left Disney. We also did several other rides all over the
world.
