Must be about time to panic, this year's Beach Party starts in a few
hours. But for now, I'll just relax a moment and make sure that the
batch of "Castaway Cream Ale" we brewed is up to our standards...
yep, it will do just fine. The theme this year is Gilligan's Island,
and from the hints I've heard so far we'll have about 43 Gingers and
only 2 MaryAnns. Hmmm... And sad to say, not many guys in my crowd
are still as skinny as Gilligan, there may be quite a few Skippers,
though. We shall see.
Last night I finally got to open up Kas' new book for more than a
few minutes, a nice job. There is a typo, though, Killer first
appeared the summer of '97, not '77. But Kas does mention the
Beach Party, cool!
Anyway, I hope to spend some time catching up on various team.net admin
tasks tomorrow afternoon during the recovery period when I most likely
won't feel like working at the shop. So if there are any questions,
nominations, address changes, etc. I've ignored in the last few weeks,
I'll work on getting them done in the next day or two.
