Vinyl decals are surprisingly adaptable to curved surfaces.  I have FOT
decals on both sides of my helmet without any wrinkles.  As long as the
curved surfaces are not too dramatic and the decal is not too large, it
will work fine.

Find a good helmet painter to do it with an airbrush.
