| In most TR-6 racecars there is a head plug where the EGR valve came out. Many of these have been re-tapped for a 3/4" pipe plug. If anyone cares, the stock thread is a 3/4" JIC thread. There is another plug in the block just above the oil filter attach point. Same thread - same size. Re-tapping these is no big deal, as long as you do it before you assemble the engine. I didn't. So I used 3/4" JIC plugs liberally doped with red Locktite. Stay tuned - so far they aren't leaking. |
