[FOT] Six block height

Amici,
Is anybody near a six cylinder engine today who could measure block height?  
I have to borrow a height gage from work to deck my block tomorrow and I'm a 
bit concerned if the one I've here is adequately tall.  I think the 12" one 
will do it.  I do remember deck height was supposed to be 7.465 from the 
saddles, 
about 2.2" for the mains and an inch or so more to the flange sounds about 
10-10.5 inches?  I should know this stuff...Steve
