Simple answer is no, the stem length is wrong. While the valve head 
diameter is the same betwen a late TR6 and a post 75 1500 head so the 
same unleaded insert can be used, the stem length of a six cylinder 
valve is always longer than a four. If desperate I suspect TR6 valves 
could be fitted to a four cylinder head by shortening teh stem and 
remachining the collet groove, things like collets, retainers and valve 
springs are all interchangeable.
