Nope. You need gaskets that don't squish out when tightened. I'd suggest
either thick, hard gasket paper or soft aluminum.

This is an easy one.  I am sealing up the bottom of my stock TR3 Brake fluid
reservoir can.  I made some swell gaskets that squish out when tightened.
Will blue RTV silicone crap do the job and hold up to the brake fluid?  Your
experience would be appreciated.  ................................Cheers
