Fellow FOT'ers:
I am pleased to put forth a nomination for another potential non-member of
this stellar organization. His name is Ron Jacobs a resident of that fine
Rocky Mountain town of Denver, CO. Ron is truly one of us - he races a 1966
TR-4A in vintage events in Calfiornia, choosing to do so since he claims the
Goodyear Bluestreaks on his car don't offer much traction on snowy road
courses. If that isn't enough, he also races a Spec Racer Ford closer to home
with the SCCA. Being a glutten for further punishment he owns not one, but
two TR-6s for the street...needs two so he has at least one running he can
use. Apparently, Ron has long-suffered with his Triumph affliction having
owned a TR-3 in his early days which in fact was his first car. Based on this
information, I'd say Ron qualifies to join us...do I hear a second?
