Forgot to mention, has the timing tensioner worn a  groove in the timing plate 
itself, if it has the plate will need to be welded or brazed and then "filed 
"flat.
Again Greg Solow at the Engine Room in Santa Cruz California has chromed timing 
chain tensioners that really resist wear well.
