As I recall, one of the FOT members knows a lot about bullet proof cars, if
not bullet proof drivetrains or electrics, which are certainly out of the
question.

No matter how you look at it, a bullet proof TR6 is impossible.

Wouldn't work, the Secret Service would never buy into a bullet proof TR6.
