Joe:

I'm assuming from this that you may not have ever seen the story on the =
Kas-prepared TR4 running there back in the day? Seems like I have a =
copy of it in an old Triumph Owners Association pamphlet or something =
similar. As usual though, Da Man will be your best source for the =
details.

Rumor has it that Ken Gillanders made a successful assault on the salt =
in the 50s.=20

What can be shared about that?=20

  Any other Triumphs do this?=20

I have been watching with great interest, that John Fitch is the =
driver for a M-B 300SL Roadster. And that he is going back next year for =
another try (at age 90!)=20

I would like to be there for that effort...and perhaps explore the =
possibilities for someone running a Triumph there.=20

  Any insights, from the LIST?=20

  Thanks,=20
