I got bit with a leaky head gasket at MOTRAH because I read the card
that comes with the ARP head studs. It says not to pull full book spec
on the torque because the studs are so strong they don't stretch like
the stock ones.
Well, I polled the group at Road America, nobody ever read the card,
everybody uses the stock 105 ft lbs.
I used moly lube, torqued to 85, and it leaked. After the damage was
done, I brought them up to 105, but no joy. Had to redo the gasket.
