I just had an autocross weekend where the course was 5 continuous laps
and I ran 31 lbs all the way around in my TR6. What I am trying to
determine through this question and the experience of FOT guys is
whether or not there is any application on the race track for the TR6
factory recommended 4 (or so) lbs less pressure in the front than the
back. I don't know what the factory pressure recommendations are for TR
3, 4, and 4A are but if they are similar to the TR6 (which is 4 lbs less
in the front than the rear), then my question extends to them too.
Also, I don't know if this type of engineering thinking is Triumph,
British, the era or what. Any thoughts?

I'm still early in learning how best to set up my TR4A but I have found
that
30 front and 31.5 rear works OK with Hoosier Speedsters on my car. I
started
our 30 all across and gradually upped the rears. Without the lower front

pressures turn in was too light. I had the car weighed the last time out
and
I'm going to do some adjustments so my pressures may be meaningless to
someone else.
