My first racecar was a TR3A with circle track style steel wheels, including
about 10 or so round cooling openings like Bill mentioned. They were virtually
unbreakable but very heavy. I think there are a few roundy-round wheel people
that will make them up to your spec.

I pretty much hoped someone with better sense would tell me how stupid
I'm being. Thanks Kas. I'll keep the steel wheels for photo sessions,
and maybe the street TR3 I'm going to build sometime really soon now.
Probably about the same time that Dave Talbot gets a race car on the
track.
