Several years ago I saw an ELVA COURIER perched precariously on two 55 gallon
drums, side by side at the cockpit.

A year or so later, it had broken at the sills, with nose and tail pointing
downward.

How Sad!

Bill,
I believe Dick's Datsun is an old Bob Sharp car. Neat car and brutally
fast.

That Stinger is neat. It looks like a real handful of a car in the corners,
but the driver was doing an awesome job with it (I believe he is an ASA/Pro
Hooters Cup competitor). It was right with the lead pack and then dropped
way back at the end (spun?).

The MGB is a car you've all seen before (remember that ridiculously fast
yellow one from the Mitty in '05? Burt Levy also drove it in the same issue
as George Wright's car). That thing is on rails.

Bummer to hear about the Elva.. it's a very pretty car and very fast. Glad
to hear the driver wasn't harmed Here is an article on it.

- everyone needs to install a driveshaft loop in their car regardless of
your level of prep.

And the Bluebird came out of nowhere. Very interesting car and surprisingly
quick. I believe it's from the Pacific Northwest. Bill Babcock, do you know
this car?
