Fellow shop rats-
Ok you caught me...i'm workin on a non-TR...but at least it has a bunch-o-TR
stuff on it. When it wouldn't move anymore cause the brakes were rusted
tight, a helpful soul removed the calipers so that it could roll. He
dutifully threw the calipers in the trunk, but evidently in his zeal, he
removed the brake caliper adapters as well. No prob except they didn't end up
in the trunk, and now as I attempt a reconstruction of this little beauty, I
do not have the adapters. I fished several out of the pile-o-parts in the
shop, but none are right. It would appear that they are GT6 style
adapters...they are "round" where they bolt to the upright (the GT6 size
upright) and take the larger 16P caliper (like a tr4).
Anyone have a set they would care to sell to the cause?
And yes, those are the breaks....
