I am making progress getting the car back together. The challenge for me is I
got the car in pieces (and I have never worked on a Triumph before) and it it
a bit of a puzzle to get it all together. The factor manual seems to be
lacking some detail.
I have a center pull and a heat shield. The way it
appears (it was not hooked up with a heat shield before) it was hooked up
before does not give me enough travel to fully open the carbs. Does any one
have photos or can send me a sketch on how the linkage should be set up. It
bugs me that I am not seeing this. All the other weird stuff I have figured
out so far.
I am still on track to run the Portland and Seattle historics
in July.
