I'm running Hoosier R6's after
Toyo RA-1's and will never go
back. The RA-1's are great
tires but nowhere near as fast
as the Hoosiers

I know from a back to back
test of a team over here that
the Hoosiers
Speedsters does have a very
good peak grip for a couple of
laps but then the
tire don't seem to be usable
anymore. Maybe this heat cycle
theme.
The Yoko don't reach the grip
of the Hoosiers but is not
much away from it
but the tire does last for
ages.
I still run tires from 2008
and do very well on them
including two hours
Nordschleife two times.
I think I'll do the first two
race on them next year.

I know from the SCCA world how
the A048's stack up against
the Toyo's and
Kumho's (slower and go away
after 2 laps).
