I've got aluminum tubing on my AFFF fire system - came with the system.
This year I noticed that one of the tubing flares had disappeared -
apparently fatigued from vibrations. Easy enough to make a new flare, but I
would hate to think what might have happened if this was a fuel line.

Did I see a query during the week asking about alloy tubing in our cars?
I remember a response about blue tubing from summit but no more. Is anyone

using alloy tubing in their cars??

I talked to a bunch of drag racers this morning that love it but I worry
about fatigue cracks in our environments. Hate to lose a race to save
three
ounces;-))
