Based on my experience in a Lemons race with a TR7, buy the more expensive
pads. We started with the off the shelf performance pads (Pep Boys type
stuff) and they lasted about 2 hours. After we put proper race pads on, we
made it the rest of the way with no problems. They were expensive, but
cheaper that replacing pads after every driver stint.
Good luck and enjoy the race. If it is anything like Lemons, you will have a
blast!

As some of you may or may not know, we are building a TR6 to go Chumpcar
acing (same principal as Lemons). We will be using, initially at least,
tock discs,drums and calipers. Since it is endurance racing we will need
everal sets of brake pads. Are there any off the shelf performance pads for
he 6 that will work. I spoke to the Carbotech people and they can have a pad
