[Fot] Spitfire Chain tensioner

Does anyone have a better solution to the crappy timing chain tensioner in
a Spitfire engine? My race car broke another one and while they're cheap
enough, it's a PITA. Seems to me there could be something mounted through
the cover to do the job better.
