as a business owner, i tread very carefully on non-commercial forums like
these. if i manage to create something really unusual that i think would
interest others, i might post something to that effect, but then cease any
commercial dealings via the forum. there are plenty of other forums/sites
where businesses can pay to advertise their wares

here in Australia, triumphs have always been a collector/niche market car,
with a relatively small "following". Despite the vast size of our country,
most enthusiasts, especially historic racers, know each other personally or
at least by reputation. we dont have the huge numbers in any one city/state
to share experiences with, so forums like this are good repository of
knowledge & experience, and especially to find new products or pose a
question like "who knows something about XYZ".

to the forum moderators, please don't make rules so tight, that some
Triumph enthusiast, who happens to be a business owner, feels threatened to
tell others about his good idea/product. I would not support any notion that
this forum is a place for businesses to actively sell a range of products.

Terry O'Beirne.
