You have the big crankcase vent in the left hand side of the block 
run to your catch tank too?  Having that plugged or too small (maybe 
a small fitting in the fuel pump cover plate) has been a source of 
pressure build up in my experience.  Pulling the plug in the hole for 
the big vent so it can be re-installed with the engine in the car is 
a major PITA.
