After finally getting my engine together and completing it's break-in at
speed, it has occurred to me we never announced our 2011 Martha McDougal
Trophy winner to the wider Triumph racing community.
After much deliberation, the TR Ghetto Award Committee selected Tony Drews
as the winner of the Martha McDougal Trophy at this year's VDCA Wild Hare
Run at VIR.
Tony epitomizes the characteristics that Martha displayed daily at the
factory in Coventry. He is known as a leader on the track, is always willing to
lend a hand, or part, and has devoted his talents to developing parts that
keep our cars going with improved performance and reliability. Above all,
Tony is a TR guy that we all admire.
Congratulations Tony! Best wishes for another successful race season.
