"MP4" is kind of like "internal combustion" ... it's just a broad category
that leaves a whole lot of open ground as to what is actually under the
hood.

FWIW, here is some free software that will convert almost anything to almost
anything.  The trick is learning which options (what's "under the hood") you
need on the output.

Thanks for the links, Bobby, but this one http://youtu.be/b9sHvrk0_n4 didn't
work for me.  YouTube claims it is a "previously uploaded video", but no
link to the supposed duplicate either.
