Almost everyone who has run a rear sway bar has removed it.

Years ago it was discussed with a TR3 racer at RA. He disconnected sway bar
and immediately  2 seconds faster than he had ever run before.

They may work well on the the street, but it seems that at some point in hard
racing, it breaks the rear end loose. Some one else likely can explain this
better.
