The weather was great, the racing was great, the food was great but there
were too few TR's there. A few Spits, my 3A and Allen Goode's 4 was about
it. I had a gread duel with David Conrad's E prod MGA and Allen's 4, got
blocked by the SVRA's owner and his ill handling Corvette on Sat's race
(damn near ran into him in the up-hills) but on Sun. I got by Allen and
David's MG and was in the lead through the last turn (hogpen) going for the
checkers when the thermostadt housing casting broke into and emptyed the
radiator on to the distributor killing the motor. I costed down pit lane
into 2nd in E Prod......bummer, but close racing with two other equal cars
has to be what it's all about..... Cheers!
