Thread-topic: [Fot] FW: MKIII Bonnet & Valance
Mark,

I do not wish chemo on anyone so sorry for your situation.

However your reply to my initial inquiry on the FOT board was exactly this,
copied and pasted from the original e mail:

" Hi Mark I have a NOS GT6+ Bonnet and a used valance just sold My GT6R
 Lemans racecar in NY Mark"

Pictures are worth very little on the web and everyone knows that. I read your
typed reply, paid too much for a used one vs a NOS one and on top of that it
has front end repair/damage, and is obviously been on a car maybe for years.
By the way you never did find the valance. If you want I can post the pics
that you sent, in no way could anyone see the damage that had been done to the
front end in those pics. You took the pics and would have seen the damage and
should have been u[p front about it then. If you remember I asked you why it
was gray vs NOS red oxide primer. Your comment was we started to prep it at
one time and then decided to not use it.

I also find it interesting that you haven't replied to my e mail I sent to you
about this problem dated 9.10.14, which was 5 days ago. Yet within 1 hour and
31 minutes of me letting the FOT membership know what happened you found time
to reply??

You were also very un kind to my group of Zapata vintage racers at Watkins
Glen when you delivered it to them. I even paid you extra in the price of the
bonnet to get in the race thru the payment I sent you on Pay Pal and then
later got you a free entrance from one of my Zapata Team guys crew lists.

In my opinion there is no way to mistake a NOS item or an e mail for a non NOS
one as non NOS. I don't care what is for sale on E bay at whatever price or
otherwise I always come here 1st to help others and to buy from fellow Triumph
nuts. While it is a good useable bonnet, it's not what you said it was and it
is not NOS by a long shot. You never came up with the valance and then you
were rude to my friends at Watkins Glen. Anyone can make a mistake but you now
say you knew it wasn't NOS in this e mail below?? But you never told me even
when I asked about the gray primer vs red oxide primer.
