Doing a TR6 engine for a local gent. His original damper was pretty rough so he
purchased a new aluminum replacement from a rebuilder. His original pulley was
a wide belt and he specified a wide belt replacement. The replacement measures
3/8 at the widest point while the original was 1/2. He questioned the supplier
and was assured it was for the wide belt. Ibm guessing they make one size and
try and sell it for both applications. Ibm not so sure this is the right
thing to do. Any thoughts?
