Hi Bill.=C2=A0 I raced a very competitive TR-4A for 24 years, and never use=
d anything but used trunions, and never had a failure.=C2=A0 As I parted ou=
t lots of cars, I would choose ones that seemed to fit tightly.=C2=A0 TR-4A=
, TR-250 and TR-6 all worked the same.=C2=A0 Of course back through most of=
 my racing years (started in 1974) new ones were not available.=C2=A0 Based=
 on my experience, stick with the used ones, as long as they are fairly tig=
ht.

t sources for upgrading TR3/4 front ends and building the new race car. Non=
e of them screwed onto the vertical link as tightly as the used OEM ones th=
at came with the donor parts. Especially disappointing was the ones that cl=
aim to be made from original tooling, and actually have some lettering cast=
 on the outside. I wouldn't install any of these on a street car, let alone=
 a race car.=20
