Having now had several successful track outings, I have come to an
observation about my car's performance. It is a petrol injected TR6.
Flowed head, Goodparts header, and cam whose maker I now cannot remember.
320 degrees, .5 lift at valve, and pretty early and long symmetrical
input/exhaust valve timing. 104 degrees lobe separation.

Car reves past 7000 rpm easily in 4th [4:11 rear end]. The problem is
low/midrange torque.. I was slightly out dragged by good Spitfires coming
out of turn 10 onto the straight at Laguna. By turn 1 I was faster than
them. Power comes on too late and torque needs to improve at low end.
Looking for recommendations on a more appropriate duration and
input/exhaust open/close timing.

More importantly, I need a recommendation for cam vendor/recommended
grind. Had a Kastner S9 in my last [now stolen] car -- but the gentleman
who did the grinding has pasted on and Moon Eyes no longer does them.

I know I have not said enough about the current cam -- just I am away from
home and do not have the cam grind card with me.
