The Valve-Cover racing provided an opportunity for myself and several other
overfocused adults to design, build and race our entries in what was a novel
and FUN event; The Gymkhana was run on a course large enough to allow Big
Healeys to compete (almost) with the Sprites; The Drive-In Movie was a neat
concept;
and the people were just great.
Plus the organizers raised approximately $5K for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Perhaps all clubs should give consideration to doing good for others while
having a great time ourselves
