Although the specs can be found at  
http://www.engineershandbook.com/Tables/torque.htm , they can also be found in 
that little black book, Pocket Ref, by Thomal J. Glover.  In addition, the 
Pocket Ref also gives the specs for Metric and Whitworth and has a chart 
showing the effect of lubrication on torque, a subject that was discussed on 
The List.
