Thanks, Norm:

Since I have the alternator already installed, my only concern was around
the total draw on the stock fuse.  This is no problem, since when I
installed the alternator, I removed the stock voltage regulator, and in its
place installed an auxiliary fuse box.  I'll just use one of the circuits on
that for the driving lights.

Hello Al,

Not sure which formula you are using to calculate the current draw, however;
the correct formula is : W (Wattage) = V (Volts) x I (Amperage).

Assuming you have 55 watt headlights (if not just change the number in the
equation) and switch on both auxilliary lights at the same time and
transposing for I gives

I  = 48+48+55+55 / 13.6 which equals  15.15 Amps (206/13.6) which a
generator
is capable of producing and well within the limits of an alternator.
