On the BN6 tops the legs do indeed have a plastic cover, it is very thin an=
d at least on the couple I have seen they were grey in colour and they cove=
r the bottom 3.5=94 to 4=94 of the legs. One thing you could use is some cl=
ear shrink tubing cut to size, it is pretty well the same thickness.

Subject: [Healeys] Top bows question
I'm getting ready to have a new top installed and making sure I have all th=
e right bits. The top bow legs fit into sockets. I read somewhere that th=
e factory used plastic sleeves in the sockets. Moss does not show any sleev=
es in their catalogue. The sockets are a larger than the top bow legs so I=
t makes sense to me to find something that will take up a bit of that slop.=
Any suggestions?
