Just looked at the car on Bring A Trailer

First of all it=E2=80=99s not a rally tribute car, but a Sebring tribute =
car.

While it doesn=E2=80=99t surprise me that it sold for US$200K., in =
itself the car does not represent the original.

It states that it=E2=80=99s a tribute to the cars that ran in 1963 =
Sebring. Well it=E2=80=99s a BJ8 and the cars that ran in Sebring 1963 =
were BJ7s as was the car that ran in 1964. The only Works BJ8 that ran =
at Sebring was in 1965 and was registered DAC 953C. That car is in =
Australia and owned by occasional list contributor Joe Armour.

While I can understand why people want to make tribute cars I =
don=E2=80=99t understand why they wouldn=E2=80=99t pick the right =
year/model.
