If the hoses are pliable and the connections undamaged and clean you =
should not need any sealant. I am using the original wire clamps on the =
top hose, the upper connection to the water pump and band clamps on the =
lower water pump hose and heater hose connection without any leaks. I =
chose band clamps for those two connections for convivence.=20

I've tried a couple Permatex sealants for the radiator hoses without =
success. They still weep a small amount of fluid. What successful =
sealants have you used that you would recommend?
