Actually, Larry Volk just recently replaced Rick Vesco as Save the Salt
Chairman. Rick had been the point man and driving force of Save the Salt
for the past Fifteen years. Larry recently stepped down from his position
as President of the USFRA held for many years, to take over Save the Salt
from Rick. You couldn't find two better guys to have looking out for the
salt than these two. Give them both a pat on the back when you see then at

There are many hoping that the old international course can be restored.
I'm sure that it will be looked at closely when laying out the track for
Speedweek in August.
