There have been so many changes in way Course Stewards are treated, I'm
not sure anymore - I think the Stewards are paid a per diem and expected
to get their own rooms - but a person would need to check with the
office for the person ( I think it is Larry Burford 619.868.2075 ) who
is supervising Stewards this year.
And there are lots of other jobs - some of which come with a room at the
State Line Inn. Never hurts to call Mike Waters and ask him if he needs
more workers. A first time worker might just give out the timing slips
on the return road or carry lunches to the timing tower, etc.
And the jobs are always interesting and let you meet interesting people.
