For general information...
At the USFRA meeting last night we made final preparation arrangements
for World of Speed. Everything is GO. We are looking at a seven mile
course for WOS. A new dragging technique worked well for course prep.
and we are building a new drag to utilize that approach. Out of
consideration for those who travel several days to get to the salt;
should the weather change our plans we decided that Monday, September
13, would be the cut off day for a cancellation. We would notify all
entrants on Tuesday the 14th. It looks good for the event from the long
range weather forecasts and the light precipitation Monday on the salt
has helped with course prep.
